Alljährlich findet die "Atlantic Rally for Cruisers" (ARC) auf Gran Canaria statt. Mehr als 1000 Hochseesegler aus der ganzen Welt und zahlreiche Zuschauer strömen in dieser Zeit nach Las Palmas und werden Teil eines tollen Wettbewerbs. Seit drei Jahrzehnten gehen auf diesem Event Profi-Regattasegler, Familienboote, pensionierte Ehepaare, Mitsegler und abenteuerliche Amateure an den Start.

Die ARC ist ein Event der Freundschaft, des Zusammenseins und des Teilens. Schon Tage vor dem Start können Sie an zahlreichen Unterhaltungsangeboten teilnehmen und interessante Menschen kennenlernen. Nachdem die Segler mit Musik und Jubel verabschiedet wurden, berichten die Teams über Funkkontakt durchgängig von ihren Abenteuern und teilen ihre aktuellen Positionen live auf der Webseite mit. Since 1986, the "Atlantic Rally for Cruisers" has been held annually, where the challenge is to cross the Atlantic. Several thousand ships sail west from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The destination port is Rodney Bay on St. Lucia.

The "Atlantic Rally for Cruisers" (ARC) takes place on Gran Canaria every year. More than 1000 ocean-going sailors from all over the world and numerous spectators flock to Las Palmas during this time and become part of a fantastic competition. Professional regatta sailors, family boats, retired couples, fellow sailors and adventurous amateurs have been competing in this event for three decades.

The ARC is an event of friendship, togetherness and sharing. Days before the start, you can take part in numerous entertainment activities and meet interesting people. After the sailors have been sent off with music and cheers, the teams report on their adventures via radio contact and share their current positions live on the website. This way, friends, families, fans and you too can be part of this great event up close.
