Ziel des Events ist es, den Wert der byzantinischen und mittelalterlichen architektonischen Schätze hervorzuheben, um das kulturelle Erbe der Insel zu erhalten.

Das Rose-Festival findet seit 2006 jährlich auf Rhodos statt und wird von der Non-Profit-Organisation „Mittelalterliche Rose“ organisiert. Dieses kulturelle Spektakel macht die mittelalterliche Geschichte der Insel erlebbar und lässt Sie eine Reise in das damalige Alltagsleben machen. Die eindrucksvolle Inszenierung und Nachstellung der vergangenen Zeit sorgt für ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis und hat somit einen festen Platz in unserer Kategorie „Entdecken“ verdient.

The Medieval Rose Festival, which takes place every year on the beautiful island of Rhodes, is a colorful journey back in time to the Middle Ages.

The town of Rhodes with its special charm is characterized by well-preserved castles, bastions and fortresses. During the Medieval Rose Festival, the town travels back in time and is transformed into a medieval place full of magic.

The aim of the event is to highlight the value of the Byzantine and medieval architectural treasures in order to preserve the island's cultural heritage.

The Rose Festival has been held annually on Rhodes since 2006 and is organized by the non-profit organization "Medieval Rose". This cultural spectacle brings the island's medieval history to life and takes you on a journey into everyday life at the time. The impressive staging and re-enactment of the past makes for a very special experience and has therefore earned a permanent place in our "Discover" category.

Through this festival, you will get to know the city of Rhodes from a new perspective and possibly see it in a completely different light than before.
